Does it ever seem like relationships don't "pay" off? I already put in a full day at work, I parented my kids, and I supported my spouse. I think it's about time I put my feet up, hire a maid, and send the bill to those that owe me. I have worked too hard for too long, and now it's my turn to be served. But every day there are still those who expect ME to serve THEM? Say what!? I don't think so!

It's good to know we're thinking something, but what does Jesus think? How did he deal with complicated relationship dynamics and the outlandish expectations that people had of him? Well, we are going to find out as we join Jesus at the dinner table this week for a family meeting so He can address our "expectations".
