Copper Hills Women

We desire to provide a unified ministry to the women of Copper Hills Church. We want to reach out to all women, regardless of background, letting them know Jesus loves them and wants to be in a relationship with them.

We seek to equip women to:

Love each other as Jesus loves us, and so become more like Jesus, in whose image we are formed, and become increasingly mistaken for Him.

Connect with other women so that we may all be able to “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” Galatians 6:2

 Take Courage:A Study of Haggai

Tuesdays starting May 21 | 6pm – 7:30pm | Copper Hills Church

Leader: Teresa Ideus

  • Then you know how the Jewish people felt when they returned to their wrecked land after exile and began rebuilding the temple. They were distracted, discouraged, and ready to throw in the towel. But the prophet Haggai reminded them they could find courage in the God who had never left them.

Sometimes the landscapes of our lives feel wrecked, with our hope and purpose in shambles. We too get distracted and discouraged. However, God’s presence and promises give us courage to press on and trust Him with our story.

In this 7-session study on the Book of Haggai, learn to walk confidently in your calling, stay motivated despite opposition, and courageously invest your life in God’s purposes, trusting Him for results you may never see in this lifetime.

Date: Tuesdays, 6pm-7:30am beginning May 21.

Have you ever gotten to the end of a week, month, or year and thought, “How did I get here? Where has the time gone?” It happens in our parenting, friendships, marriage, and work – we get caught up in the urgent demands of the day-to-day, and then years go by, and we realize we haven’t been making the small choices that will get us where we wanted to be. So, this is the year to make some moves.

Sew Good Together

Fridays | 9 am - 12 pm | Room 207

Leader: Anita Gerdes

  • Are you a quilter or a wanna-be quilter? Do you have a sewing machine that collects dust, but you would like to learn to sew items like pillows, aprons, or bags? Would you want to reinforce what you have learned in sewing classes at the Center for the Arts? Maybe you are interested in weaving, knitting, crocheting, fabric collage, or any other fiber arts? Or maybe you desire a reason to connect with other women?

Open-sew sessions for women of all ages and skill levels will meet Friday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00 in Room 207. We will provide basic supplies for ironing and cutting. However, you will need to bring your own sewing machine. (An elevator will take you up to the second floor). We can help you find a project to work on.

Please sign up below if you are interested. There is no cost to you, but the registration helps us plan. It will also keep you informed about special opportunities and schedule changes.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2
