“Follow me…” (Jesus of Nazareth)

Jesus’s invitation to follow him is echoed in our mission: to help each other increasingly do the next moment with Jesus by intentionally Being With him, resulting in increasingly Thinking Like him and increasingly being Mistaken for him. Join us as we explore Jesus’ invitation to follow him, learn to walk His speed—the speed of love, unhurried—and uncover or rediscover the habits, practices, and relational rhythms that create space for God to do His transformative work in our lives.

Conversation: Intentional Conversations with Others

Whether it was hearing a Pharisee’s doubts in the middle of the night, listening to a woman’s excitement about the Messiah at a well, or sharing scriptures with loved ones on a journey, Jesus engaged with intent, staying present and focused on those he was with in spiritual conversations. A spiritual conversation is about connecting with others to encourage, being present in the moment, and focusing on their struggles and joys. This session will cover techniques and tools for being an engaged listener and encourager, whether over coffee or through a text, guiding others to embrace Jesus as a way of life.

In this session we'll explore community and how it can deepen our relationship and walk with Jesus. 

Sessions are designed for participants aged 11th grade and older. Lunch will be provided.
