Brad, his wife Elfie, and their 3 young children moved from Canada to the U.S. in 1997 with a vision to see a community and culture transformed by the amazing story of Jesus. The idea was to create a church that would be mistaken for Jesus by the community and have the kind of cultural influence that Jesus had in His life. That in turn would create a desire in people to follow Jesus and do every moment of their lives with Him, leading them to think like Him, and eventually be mistaken for Him. That meant creating a new kind of community, a place where everyone would know they could come with any need. 

Today, Brad and Elfie’s children are married, and they have 7 grandchildren. While much has changed over the last 25 years, Jesus’ character and love for the local church has not. The vision is just as clear as it was when Copper Hills started.
