Job Type: Full Time
Description: The Executive Director should know the heart, vision, goals and desires of the Copper Hills leadership team. He/she should have the fortitude and wisdom to take the vision provided by the Lead Pastor and elders and build onto it. He/she is to be a steward of CHC’s resources and its vision and its strongestvservant leader. The Executive Director should be able to see the big picture but at the same time must pay attention to minuscule details. It is a challenging role that involves long-range planning, a unique complexity, and specific understanding of the CHC culture and pace. Having a significant executive role in helping the church family reach spiritual maturity and deal with tactical operational issues, the Executive Director must be both deep and wide. While flying at 30,000 feet, the successful candidate will notice that a shrub needed to be replaced. Always keeping the CHC mission at the forefront, he/she must look at every problem or opportunity though the lens of that mission. The Executive Director should be focused on fulfilling the mission of the church while having a pastoral approach with both people and process. Daily prayer for wisdom and discernment is paramount. The successful candidate must be first and foremost a spiritual leader with a heart for supporting the lead pastor, staff and CHC family.
