Prayer at Copper Hills
Prayer Requests
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
Our Prayer Request Team meets every Sunday morning at 7:30 AM to intercede for requests submitted through our online prayer request form. Many members of this team have faithfully served for years, and requests are kept confidential.
Together, we regularly ask to experience Jesus’ kingdom coming to heal and restore the small and big things in our lives. With every request, our church family prays to our Father Who loves us, in the name of Jesus Who advocates for us, and by the power of the Holy Spirit Who is within us.
Prayer Response
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people...” (1 Timothy 2:1)
Our Prayer Response Team meets every Sunday morning from 9:30 – 10:00 AM to provide a space for people to come receive personal prayer.
Whether you are carrying a burden, celebrating a blessing, or responding in worship, our prayer response team is here to listen to you, pray with you, and encourage you with what Jesus may have to say to you.
When: Sundays, 9:30-10am
Where: CFTA Lobby, above Video Venue
Centering Prayer
“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” (Psalm 46:10)
Join us on the last Monday evening of each month for a prayer experience centered on being present with God. Centering Prayer is about offering our full attention to God, basking in the love of the Father as those who are united with Jesus and filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Together, our centering prayer group slows down by reading a Psalm before spending 20 minutes in silence together to practice attentiveness and openness to God’s presence. We close our time by praying the Lord’s Prayer and providing some optional space to process together. This practice helps us develop a greater awareness of God’s presence and work in our everyday lives.
When: Last Monday every month
Where: Prayer Room in Atrium
Pastor Prayer Meetups
“Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.” (Jeremiah 3:15)
Do you want to meet with a pastor for prayer? Anyone in our church family can always email a pastor to meet for prayer. We also regularly offer seasonal Pastor Prayer Meetups as small, midweek gatherings to create space for anyone to come pray with a pastor.
Our pastors will also provide a resource on the practice of Examen, a classical spiritual practice designed to help us process our days with Jesus by noticing God’s presence and work in the ordinary moments of our everyday lives.

Prayer Walks
“They asked each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’” (Luke 24:32)
Our God walks with us. In the beginning, God walked with humanity in the garden. When the Son of God was born into our world, Jesus constantly walked with His followers.
Join us for Seasonal Guided Prayer Walks designed to help us live at the pace of Jesus and listen to God’s voice. Our prayer walks begin at Copper Hills and follow flat, concrete paths and light dirt trails in our neighborhood. A walking route and a topical prayer guide will be provided.
Details coming soon.
